Creative Summer: Kunstkammer

28th July – 30th July Creative Summer, Dance City with a studio sharing at 3pm on July 30th.

This summer Peter and Dora will be in residence in Dance City’s superb purpose-built studios and, apart from their own research and exploration will offer a workshop to advanced students and professional dance and movement artists, as well as opening the door to visual artists and photographers. Kunstkammer: Sarah Baulch Gallery

6.30pm to 9pm on Saturday 15th August.

Kunstkammer, or Cabinet of Curiosities is the new project with composer Peter Coyte, which allows Dora and Peter to frame their long collaboration as a response to the past, present and future. It fuses live music, dance, movement and visuals and the artists are delighted to be joined by dancer Becky Horne, video artist @diz_qo and electric violist Sophie Sirota for this immersive gallery performance as part of Herne Bay Festival.

This performance is free and donations are welcome!

Kunstkammer: MOCA London gallery

Kunstkammer, or Cabinet of Curiosities, is Dora Frankel’s new project with composer Peter Coyte, which allows them to frame their long collaboration as a response to the past, present and future. Kunstkammer fuses dance, spontaneous aural and movement composition and improvisation into performances, workshops, installations and conversations in and across different theatre and non-theatre settings, presenting their work to new audiences.
